A Semi-Grade 1 sorcerer is a rank for sorcerers who have successfully completed their associated assignments after receiving a semi-grade 1 recommendation. These sorcerers are a rank below Grade-1 sorcerers, but they are valuable and influential for Jujutsu High and help protect humanity.

4. Utahime Iori

Utahime Iori is the first semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer from Kyoto Jujutsu High. She is the ultimate support character because of her cursed technique, explanation follows. Also, Utahime possesses great speed and reflexes, as shown when she dodged an attack from Kenjaku while saving Kasumi Miwa.

Utahime’s innate technique is Solo Forbidden Area: This allows Utahime to temporarily boost the cursed energy of any given sorcerer within her range, as well as herself. After performing a certain ritual involving dancing, hand signs, incantations, and music, her technique can amplify the cursed energy up to 120 percent.

Secondly, Utahime can use Curtain: this is a large barrier released over an extensive area to conceal everything within this barrier from the outside world. But Utahime has not much to offer besides these abilities, so she lacks martial arts skills, strength, and any offensive ability whatsoever.

3. Toge Inumaki

Toge Inumaki is a semi-grade 1 jujutsu sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High and is a classmate of Panda, Yuta Okkotsu, and Maki Zenin. He is a descendant of the Inumaki Clan, a clan famous for their powerful cursed technique: Cursed Speech.

This cursed technique allows Inumaki to infuse his words with cursed energy, enhancing the spirit of his commands and forcing everyone who hears them to obey. For example, Toge can shout commands like get crushed, don’t move, sleep, blast away, or explode, and it works effectively.

Secondly, this ability works on humans and curses. However, the drawback of this cursed technique is that the more challenging the command is, the higher the toll it puts on Toge’s body.

So when Toge uses powerful words with his Cursed Speech, it drains a lot of energy and even more when used against strong opponents who possess more cursed energy than him. To further increase the reach of Toge’s cursed technique, he uses a bullhorn to amplify his voice.

Toge does not possess any other abilities or powers like Simple Domain, Domain Expansion, or Black Flash, nor is he a powerful martial artist, all because he relies heavily on his cursed technique.

2. Noritoshi Kamo

Noritoshi Kamo is a third-year student at Kyojo Jujutsu High and the former heir to the infamous Kamo clan.

His overall skills as a fighter have drastically improved since the start of Jujutsu Kaisen, and here’s why. Noritoshhi is naturally a calm and intelligent fighter who combines his mental prowess with his cursed techniques and abilities. Besides this, he has shown during fights against special-grade curse Hanami that he can structure a plan and lead a group in battle.

He is capable of being a leader and coming up quickly with strategies even in the middle of a fight by analyzing his opponents and using his jujutsu knowledge to act. When fighting, he uses a bow and arrow imbued with cursed energy to shoot enemies.

Noritoshi can use Blood Manipulation: This cursed technique is inherited from the Kamo Clan and it’s a balanced ability that grants Noritoshi full control over his blood.

For example, he can use Blood Manipulation to dip his arrows with blood and control them even after firing, defying physics. Secondly, he has a wide range of offensive capabilities he can use when using multiple other techniques derived from Blood Manipulation.

Here are the derived techniques from Blood Manipulation:

• Flowing Red Scale: Increases the pulse rate, body temperature, and number of red blood cells for energy, and the body’s physical abilities of the user.
• Crimson Binding: allows the user to transform its blood into a net that traps the target.
• Slicing Exorcism: forms a wheel of blood with the user’s blood, twisting it at high speeds to create a bladed projectile, then launches it at the target.
• Convergence: compresses and condenses the user’s blood to the limit as a requirement for other techniques.
• Piercing Blood: using a compressed blood orb, the user fires a long-ranged beam of blood from their palms with incredible speed and flesh-piercing capabilities.

1. Kokichi Muta

Kokichi Muta is an interesting and powerful student from Tokyo Jujutsu High who used Ultimate Mechamaru as a cover for his body, which is a puppet. Unfortunately, because of Kokichi’s Heavenly Restriction, he was born with a fragile body with only one arm, no feeling in his lower body, skin sensitive to fresh air, and a condition so bad that he has to stay in a bath tub surrounded with tubes to keep him alive

. However, Kokichi has many advantages in return, such as a bunch of cursed energy that he uses to manipulate his Mechamaru and other puppets. Mechamaru, for example, is a valuable ally because of his diversity on offense and defence with deadly weapons, strong shields, and a bunch of cursed energy.

Secondly, Kokichi’s puppet manipulation technique allows him to increase Mechamaru’s power to an extent that it can eliminate special grade curses when he uses Mode: Albatross. This fires a powerful canon filled with cursed energy from within Mechamaru’s mouth.

Besides these abilities, Kokichi proves to be an amazing strategic sorcerer who quickly analyzes his surroundings and uses them to his advantage.

He unleashed more of his incredible abilities against Mahito such as Ultimate Mechamaru-Mode, the strongest puppet to exist that Kokichi can control from inside. As a result, Kokichi’s heavenly restriction was unleashed and he could use all cursed energy collected from his life of seventeen years, five months, and six days.

So now Mechamaru can use even more powerful blasts, homing missiles, even develop the innate technique New Shadow Style: Simple Domain. This is a technique even some grade-1 sorcerers are not able to do. He then can launch his strongest attacks at his opponent and when successful, can kill special grade curses.
